Job Overview
The Condensed Matter Theory Group at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow research position. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Yashar Komijani. The group is currently interested in semi-analytical approaches to:
1. Entanglement and chaos in strongly correlated electronic systems.
2. Superconductivity in heavy-fermions and Iron pnictides.
3. The use of Kondo anyons for topological quantum computation.

Essential Functions
The candidates are expected to
- Conduct research within the designated topic, such as those identified above.
- Write efficient Matlab codes and run them on the computer cluster.
- Assist in manuscript writing and presentation of research results.
- Participate actively in group meetings and assist in training students.
- Be an active member on collaborative projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Prior to the date of appointment, the candidate must have
- a PhD theoretical physics or a closely related field.
- a record of publications in theoretical condensed matter physics.
- experience with many-body physics and strongly correlated 1D systems.
- experience with computational methods in physics.

The initial position is for one year and can be extended up to one more year upon mutual agreement. Start dates are flexible and the applicants are required to specify their availability in the cover letter. The search will continue until a suitable candidate is identified.
